Update From Smith

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have updated most grades in powerschool. Also, that some of you have been asking about the missing work or quizzes; please do not worry if you were away it is all okay, you will be able to complete those and other work when you return from your break. I do have a few more paragraphs to read and update the grades.

Today we will be finishing up with a review of Point of View, and then moving onto Theme. We will be looking at what Theme is, and how to identify it within a text. Tomorrow we will be having a quiz on Setting & Characterization.

Intro Assignment

Welcome back to a chilly week ahead of us! Your intro paragraphs are still being marked at this time. There are still a number of outstanding ones, please make sure you speak with me about this and get them submitted asap. We are moving on to review Plot & Setting, followed by character development & conflict.

There will be a quiz on Wednesday, Feb 6th on sentences( run on sentences and sentence fragments) that is this Wednesday.
