Week #2 of Lit Circles

Week #2 of Lit Circles is here. Today students will be having their group meetings and then begin working on their summaries. Please remember that the Vocab Director does not need to do a summary! We are also introducing the Blog Pages for each novel these Links will be found under the ELA 9 Book Club Blogs Tab on the top left of this blog. Have fun!

Day 1 of Lit Circles

Good Morning,

Today we will be starting our first reading day for the Lit Circles. Your Role booklets are available under the Novel Study tab to the top right, and then at the bottom of the page. The dates are set and filled in for your meetings, with the first starting this Wednesday March13th. All book groups will need to figure out the page count required to be completed too and then fill that information in each students booklet.

Introduction to Literature Circles

Today students will be introduced to Literature Circles and how the various roles they will be performing through out their novel studies. An individual package will be made available to each student under the Novel Study tab. This will serve as the backbone for scheduled group meetings and the work that will be performed over the next few weeks.
